Today’s challenge for the believer: 

Today’s challenge is to see God even through the difficult moments. Many times we say how could there be a God when this or that happens. Instead we should be seeing how we can find God in that event. often times God uses tragedy to draw us closer to him. although he is not the cause of that tragedy, he can use anything for his glory. I personally became closest to God when I was in a hospital bed fighting for my life. If you allow those moments to draw you closer to him, you will become stronger than you could ever imagine.

Today’s challenge is to give up your entire life to God. Sometimes in life we give gone just a little piece of our life. We are safe with it. We block off a certain amount of time for him on Sunday and maybe even for prayer during the week. But God doesn’t want us to be lukewarm with our lives. He wants us to give him all of our lives and we should want to also.

Today’s challenge for the believer: 

Today’s challenge is to begin a 40 day fast. this fast can be giving up anything. It should be something that is important to you and occupies a chunk of your time each day. It could be television, social media, junk food, soda, whatever is occupying a big part of your life You do not have to give it up completely, you just need to give a section of it up. For example I am giving up television for the next 40 days. However I’m not giving up television completely. I am just giving up a significant amount and saying that I will only watch an hour and a half each day. For me although it is that the minute I often watch three hours or more of television each day. that means the time that I was spending watching television is now meant to be dedicated to God. It is is sensual that you replace the thing that you’re fasting with time with God. If you do not do this then it is worthless to give up whatever you are giving up. The whole idea is the field that chunk of time with prayer and one on one God time.

Share your story. Be bold and share the gospel today. Together we can change the world one person at a time

Today’s challenge is to come to God with your struggles. Sometimes it can feel like he isn’t listening. Sometimes all the things in this life can wait down on you and it becomes too difficult to deal with what’s going on. in these times come to Jesus. Ask him to make it clear what he wants you to do with your life. Ask him to tell you what it is that he wants you to do.

Today’s challenge for the believer: 

Today’s challenge is to come see my sermon tomorrow about forgiveness. Just kidding 🙂 well unless your in high school or middle school. Then you definitely should come. I will be teaching at Scottsdale Bible cactus campus at the 9 AM middle school service and the 11 AM high school service.

For real though, the challenge for today is simply to forgive. Think of someone in your life that you may have a broken relationship with. Maybe they did something in the past to hurt you. Take the time to pray for that person. I know that’s difficult, but remember that we were forgiven when we did not deserve it by God. If he did that for us, should not we do that for others.
